  Wes Anderson creates movies which speak volumes with perfectly timed moments of silence, dare to include characters as absurd as real people, and ingeniously incorporate seemingly random music. The tone of his movies is as modern as it is retro. What really touches me though, is the ironic plight of his main characters. Whether they are striving to overcome their own weaknesses, trivial pursuits, or other challenges. We cannot help but fall in love with their flaws.
