Concrete Architectural Associates is thé interior design firm from Amsterdam who is conquering the world with their stunning designs. I am a big fan of their work because each design is unique and visiting one of the spaces leaves behind an experience in itself. A few personal favorites are the Supperclub, Citizen M, Rituals and the coffee company. Most of their designs are used in commercial areas so it is great you can visit them on a daily basis. Check out their book “The World According to Concrete”. It’s a great book if you want look into their work, inspiration sources and read about how other people view their work.

citizen M is named after the mobile citizens of the world, explorers, culture-seekers, shoppers and professionals that seek a hotel that gives them what they want; stylish design created by Concrete architects from Amsterdam, a comfortable bed and big fluffy pillows, rooms which you can customize (yep, through a special mood pad invented by concrete and designed by Philips you can change the lightning into different colors in your room depending on your mood), the best entertainment for FREE, cool places were you can work and socialize, great locations and all that without unnecessary or hidden costs.. A hotel where budget meets luxury, taking a 5 star room cutting away everything you don’t need. Check their website and don’t forget to watch their introduction movie. You will be hooked after that. Very cool stuff.

Supperclub is a place to escape from reality. Upon entry, you’re given a hearty welcome. The patron leads you to a comfortable mattress covered whit soft cushions. So you sit down, while all around you the most surprising events take place, and beautiful waitresses serve you exquisite food on a gigantic dinner tray. The interior, designed by Concrete from Amsterdam, is exquisite. It really enhances the total experience. From Amsterdam, Rome, San Francisco, Supperclub is now expanding all over the world. In every new location Concrete tries to design a new interior element to keep the concept innovative. How cool is that! I love the fact that every night is new. It makes me wonder what will happen next making me hunger for more.
