It took some persuasion for me to buy my MacBook. But oh how I love it. I work all day on an office PC, and one of the first things I do on the return home is turn on the Mac. Music, friends, internet: brilliant.

London is fairly new to me. As an irregular but increasingly frequent leisure visit, my heart soars as I descend into the tube at King's Cross. A geographer by training, the map is iconic - the lines and the font a joy. The best bit though is the sound - the rattle of the carriages down the track and the announcements. Wonderful.

Shame on Stephen Fry for lowering himself with the kind of dross espoused in their recent T.V. ads, but just look at the box: quality. First thing in the morning and last thing at night. Perfect.
