    • I am simply smitten with it

      Lucas Papaw Ointment

      11 June 2007

For years I had a friend who was addicted to this little red tube, and I could never quiet grasp what the fuss was about until I tried it myself; and now, I’m the one who makes ’the fuss’ about having it in my possession. It is typically used as an application for burns, chafing, cuts, cracked skin, and gravel rash. What the label doesn’t tell you is that it is a fantastic lip ointment. Therein lies the divinity of the product. My lips are always soft, and supple after use. Not a day goes by where I don’t use my papaw oitnment, and when I can’t find it I don’t stop until I do. Where ever I am, so is my papaw for it does not leave my pocket. I am simply smitten with it. An addiction perhaps? But one I cannot live without.

    • Without the Milo, milk is nothing

      Milo

      11 June 2007

Milo makes milk. Without the Milo, milk is nothing. The question you must ask yourself is ’how do you like yours?’. I didn’t realise how important this question was until I offered to fix a glass of it for a friend. After dropping a couple of scoops on last, she affirmed that she preffered hers made with the Milo put in first, and than mixed to death until the milk is a nice chocolatey colour. On the other hand, I think the Milo is the best part and would prefer to ’play’ with it; scooping it on last, mixing a small part in, and dunking the remaining mixture in, while proceding to eat the that remaining mixture by the spoonful. Techniques aside, Milo is perhaps the main reason why anyone actually chooses to drink milk.

    • I love its softness and strength

      Kleenex

      19 June 2007

If ever toilet paper could be stylish Kleenex Cottonelle would be the leader. It’s the only toilet paper I use, and when I am forced to use anything of lesser quality I am slightly disgruntled. Upon professing my love for it to a friend, he confessed that it reminded him of when he worked on a cotton field, and had to use cotton tufts instead of the ’real deal’. I love its softness, strength, and the woven texture that prevents the ply’s from seperating. I never thought that toilet paper could be anymore than what it is, however Kleenex thwarted this perception.

    • Delightful

      Weis

      22 July 2007

Weis ice cream is delightful. Each bar has a fruity portion accompanied by a strip of cream down the side. Unlike many popular ice cream flavours, Weis has a natural fruity taste leaving you feelilng as though its given you your serving of fruit for the day (no sinister feelings attached)! It is refreshing, undoubtedly leaving you wanting to go back for more and more. Weis ice cream is availiable in bars, or in a tub for those of us who enjoy being gluttons.

    • The breakfast of champions

      Weet-Bix

      07 August 2007

Who would have thought that memories could be made from soggy bricks of wheat! I’ve grown up eating Weet-Bix, and I have no doubt that I’m not alone! It’s the quintessential Aussie breakfast. In fact, it’s the breakfast of champions. How many do you have?

    • Pure bliss

      Tim Tams

Tim Tams are bliss. Pure bliss.

    • Superior to other forms of chocolate

      M&M's

      24 September 2007

M&M’s have a lot of qualities about them that make them superior to other forms of chocolate - the ability to swindle just as much as you want, the variety of flavours, etc, and rightly so according to my book of useless information. It indicates that M&M’s were developed so soldiers could eat the sweets without getting their fingers sticky. I am also compelled to add that in my opinion M&M’s are better than ’Smarties’. They seem to have an outright tastier flavour.

    • The potential to lace itself in memories

      Scrabble

      24 September 2007

I will always pay special singificance to Scrabble, as a game that has the potential to lace itself in memories. This may be a result of it lasting for hours, as it is of mammoth proportions, and fosters great conversation. Or simply, the unbridled antics of disgruntled family members who find that they have been defeated. Scrabble is undoubtedly a ’mind gym’!

    • True to nature

      Jalna

      10 November 2007

My fondness for Jalna lies in its premium yoghurt. It is a natural cultured dairy food, and as the logo suggests, it is indeed - true to nature, as all the ingredients are natural, and there are no artificial additives. I have never been partial to the taste of natural yoghurts, as they typically tend to leave a bitter twang behind, Jalna, however is thick, and creamy, and offers a great range of flavours; their 'premium creamy' range is particularly tasty, I've never known an 'indulgent' food to be packed full of such goodness!

    • Each one of them more enticing

      Burgen

      10 November 2007

It's the tastiness that swayed me into being a lover of this product, and the ridiculous amount of nutrients that it offered was 'just' a bonus ;) Burgen is available in six varieties, each one of them more enticing than the next! Who would've thought that bread could be so addictive?!

    • Nothing good

      McDonald's

      12 December 2007

Nothing good can come from eating food that swims in a pool of fat, and tastes like cardboard.

    • An absolute sensation

      Jelly Belly

      15 May 2008

The plethora, and the mastery of each flavour is an absolute sensation. Jelly Belly's are a delicacy!!

    • Will serenade your senses

      Schwarzkopf

      28 August 2008

I love Schwarzkopf. It has an amazing line of products that you will fall in love with. My favourite is Schwarzkopf's hair repair Nutritive Shampoo and Conditioner. It smells absolutely delightful and natural, in addition to most importantly leaving hair feeling, and looking beautiful. Schwarzkopf also offer an excellent line of styling products. The smell of their products will serenade your senses.

    • Simply marvellous

      Bontadi

      25 July 2009

“Walking among ancient XVIII century houses, through arcades and paved courtyards rounded by balconies, one can breathe a scent known by all people.” Italy has given to me many gifts, and inevitably one of these was a coffee addiction. To speak of Italian coffee as any less of an art would be a travesty; for the fine taste and passion that the Italians imbue within it is simply marvellous.

      Little Golden Books

      01 August 2009

Little Golden Books are one of my fondest childhood memories. They were so entwined in my upbringing that I still remember looking over each one with such admiration and attention. The diversity within the collection gave them so much appeal, and their distinctive appearance always made them recognisable. The illustrations are beautiful, and the words enchanting. Memories are made of these.
