• Apple devotees

  There are "PC users", but people using a Mac aren't just "Apple users", we're truly "Apple devotees". Take me, for instance. Having a Mac means not being able to run a lot of applications that I was used to use on PC (like Slovak-English dictionaries). Also I am not able to download stuff from KaZaa. And even some web pages are not designed to work properly on Macs. But do I care? NO WAY! I love Apple. And for every downside I'll find a dozen contra-arguments. Like when everyone was scared of the MyDoom virus, I was perfectly calm. Or that the Mac is much faster and looks better. The truth is that I love the brand for what it is and what it stands for.

  This tiny little car made me yell "Mmmmiinnniiiiiii!!!" every time I saw it on the street. And that earned me a lot of suspicious and odd looks from passers-by. But for some reason I kept doing it anyway... guess it's because the car looks like a toy you want to play with... I stopped yelling after visiting Paris and seeing Mini's everywhere I looked. But I still want to play with it every time I see it.

  I'll happily argue about whether those guys still rock or not, but one thing is for sure - these guys are definitely metal marketing genius. This is not merely a brand, they are a myth. I generally repel branded goods, especially clothes with big name logos on them, but I'm still willing to put on a T-Shirt that says METALLICA.

• Understanding the outdoor challenge

  Do you know the feeling when wind whispers to your ears and the mountain in front of you is higher than your courage? I do. And so does Trek Sport (yes, those Slovak guys producing outdoor sports equipment like backpacks, sleeping bags etc). "Understanding the outdoor challenge" is more proof that a slogan can be actually true. When I’m out there, there's only me, my partner and my equipment. So I have to choose carefully whom and what to take with me. Your backpack is your best friend who will never break your back. Your sleeping bag is your lover who keeps you warm all night. And I am very fortunate to have found a both in Trek Sport.

• Because of a couple of Canadians and a Sweede

  I'm sure this one qualifies for the most ironic coincidence in the Lovemarks, but I love Colorado because of a couple of Canadians and a Sweede. I went to Denver because I'm a huge hockey fan and wanted to be where Forsberg, Sakic, Roy, and Drury all play(ed). And when I was there, I fell in love with the town with it's great bookstores, the university, and the mountains surrounding it. But, ice hockey comes first.

  You know you've reached a state of Love Beyond Reason, if you love a hockey team that you've never even seen play live. Even though I live 6000 miles from Denver, I still worry a lot about what will happen with the team. I still read every news from the Denver local paper on the team, I play a complete season for the team on my PC (and generate a player with my name and abilities to be the second goalie, of course).
