As a Arab, the Show changed a lot of my views towards the American people. Sorkin created a phenomenon that gave millions of people from around the world a glimpse at American politics, it also taught a lot of the American people about the outside world and its politics. The West Wing created characters that were so real, they make you angry, yet you are able to forgive them because you got to know them. The West Wing not only "raised the level of debate", it raised the level of acceptance for other TV shows. It also targeted intelligent people all over the world and never had to talk down to us. Thank you Sorkin for your witty scripts and phenomenal writing. Thank you for a president I wish existed everywhere: wise, intelligent, strong and human.
