    • Amazing technology

      Segway

      13 February 2004

Segway is an amazing piece of technology that is also fun to use. The main use is for when it’s too far to walk and yet not far enough to drive. It’s a great way save on gas, and help the environment. It is pedestrian friendly and can be used in any environment. One warning though don’t buy one if you’re shy because you will become the center of attention everywhere you go.

    • ... took my breath away

      Sedona, Arizona

      13 February 2004

Sedona Arizona is one of the most beautiful places in the world. The first time I drove into Sedona it took my breath away. The red rock formations are a sight to behold. The town has many nice little shops or larger shopping areas so there is something here for everyone. I enjoyed Sedona so much that I just had to stay there again on my return trip. While I didn't have time to hike the trails, I'm planning a trip back so I can spend some quality time in this beautiful scenic wonderland amongst these amazing red rock formations.

    • At its best

      WFUV Public Radio

      14 February 2004

WFUV-FM, college radio at its best. Based in Fordham University in NYC it is the Voice of Fordham University. You can hear a blend of Americana, Country, Zyedco, Rock and every other genre of music out there. Where else can you hear Townes Van Zandt back to back with Frank Sinatra or John Gorka, Hank Williams and Jason Mraz. It was on WFUV that Norah Jones had her radio debut and was put on the road to Grammy history. There is also the Grateful dead hour, world music Celtic music and NPR news. It is by far the best music being played over the New York City airwaves and the world wide web. It's called having something for everyone.

    • As a grownup

      Campbell's Soup

      15 February 2004

I grew up on Campbells Soup. To me there is nothing better than a bowl of Campbells Chicken Noodle Soup. Campbells Chicken Noodle Soup has defined to the world the taste of Chicken Noodle Soup. All other Chicken Soups are rated based on Campbells taste. Other soups may tout that you can have a choice of soups now that you're a grownup, but as a grownup, I prefer having my Campbells soup whether it's Chicken Noodle, Tomato, Minestrone or Clam Chowder. Make mine Campbells.

    • A sight and sound to behold

      Concorde

      15 February 2004

The Concorde by far is the most beautiful and graceful aircraft that ever flew over NYC. I have two defining sightings of the Concorde that I will never forget. The first is driving past Kennedy airport on the service road and watching a Concorde coming in for a landing. I pulled over to the side of the road and watched this beautiful piece of machinery with it's deafening roar fly about 100 feet over me and land gracefully. A sight and sound to behold. The second, is sitting in Shea Stadium in NYC and watching a Concorde fly overhead. Once again so close, but yet so far. I never flew in a Concorde, and now I never will as the entire fleet has been retired. But I do have these two moments out of many Concorde sightings that will be etched in my memory forever.

    • Like a fine wine

      Annie Lennox

      20 April 2004

Annie is the ultimate Diva. This girl can sing. Forget about the other so-called Divas that VH1 promotes, most will never have the staying power of Annie Lennox. Like a fine wine, her voice gets better with age. Annie Lennox is in a class by herself. There are not many singers past or present who can sing with the depth or range that Annie has.

    • Like Ringo and Moonie

      Premier Percussion

      07 May 2004

I've been playing Premier Drums for the past 35 years. To me, there is no better sounding drum made. Premier precussion have been innovators in the world of percussion, from their long lug design to their world quality chrome, to their shell and hardware designs. Many of the greatest drummers in the world have played Premier like Ringo and Moonie, but they still appeal to some of the finest recording drummers of today.
