  Neil Diamond may be the most vulnerable, talented, powerfully gifted artist of our time in popular culture. I've followed his career, with awe, since the beginning. His talent has not diminished over the years; and now, with "12 Songs" we get a beautiful example of just how skilled this songwriter/performer is! And, really, has always been. His towering presence on the musical landscape casts a shadow over all. And I suspect it will always be so!!
