Like all the best things in life
VICE has grown since its humble beginnings in 1997 to a fully-fledged global empire. VICE is respected for being on the cutting edge of culture. The Beatles said it best, "can't buy me love". And you can't buy this Lovemark. VICE (www.viceland.com), like all the best things in life, is free.

A central system
Livejournal (www.livejournal.com) acts like a central system for all that goes on in my life. With so many people to keep up with, it's easier to just give the livejournal url and let people read. Its about building communities.

High water mark
boingboing.net is the one blog that I read every single day. It is the shared project of 4 very different people people that share interests in: art, technology, science, sex, robots, good writing, the internet, humor, philosophy, pop culture and the media. Each of the 4 bloggers (and the rotating guest blogger) are brilliant, funny, and consistently interesting. I can't believe they do this for free. I consistently use ideas and links they point to to amaze my friends and coworkers. In my mind, and to many I have introduced to the site... they are the high water mark in the crowded world of blogs.
