Filling time until I found a Saab
I'm just now realizing the connections with family and Saab. My parents bought a '71 99 new and while I was only 4 I still remember picking it up at the dealer. The 99 was followed by a new ’86 9000S and then a new 900S in '89. They are now Saab-less. However, I recently bought a 9-5 wagon. I have a strange feeling of comfort now, as if my BMW and Audi exploits where filling time until I found a Saab. I find myself saying I should have bought one of these long ago. I can only hope the GM influence will not adversely affect the relationship or the cars. Seeing Saturn being pulled back under the pall of the GM umbrella doesn’t bode well for Saab I’m afraid.

Unique heritage
GM's decision to have SAAB blend-in with the masses, evidenced by the 9-3, could be a fatal one for this wonderful brand, with its unique heritage. A real shame. This car no longer looks, feels and sounds like a vintage SAAB; rather more like an average, uninspired broad appeal SAAB (or should I say luxury Opel/Vauxhall?) Is the loyal SAAB buyer staying with the brand or has he moved on?

Poetic injustice
When I broke my ankle five weeks ago it was enough you would say to make anyone feel low. It's been an adjustment to life in a cast, taken for granted was my freedom in the past. On crutches I now walk with a bob - the worst of it all is I can't drive my Saab!

Never be another
There will never be another car quite like the Saab. My first car was a Saab 99L in the early seventies. And my last was (and is) a 900S BEFORE General Motors made the car "theirs."

The emotional connection our family has...
There are Saab people, and then there are other people. My grandmother has a Saab, my mother has a Saab, my father has a Saab, my aunt has a Saab, my sister has a Saab and I have a Saab. I still have a picture of my first Saab - 1987 900S, 4 door, Silver with maroon interior. There are rational reasons for purchasing a Saab, but the emotional connection our family has with Saabs is far beyond reason and logic.

Unique, wonderful, amazing
My Saabs have provided for immeasurable enjoyment, pleasure, and expression. I simply won't drive anything else and can't quite imagine my garage without a Saab or two in it. These are amazingly unique, wonderful, and amazing machines. It is without great thought or hesitation that I name my Saabs as my "lovemarks".

A truly unique auto
Saab has always been in my life. A piece of my childhood and now a piece of my children's childhood. A truly unique auto with an outstanding identity of utility, safety, and involved driving. All the things I demand of a vehicle to transport me and my family.

I love my Saab
Like 7Up, the Saab is the 'UN' car. Not because it doesn't have all the functionality of every other car - and then some - but because it's the car that most people don't see themselves in. I always thought it was an eccentric car, not sure why, but seemed to be an anomoly even among other European sports sedans. Great reputation, longevity almost guaranteed, a bit pricey, but somehow very different from the Beamers and Benzes. Then I took one for a spin. I love my Saab and so does anybody who rides in it. It's understated and I like that. It's stylish - in it's own way and I like that too.

Unlike anything else
Quirky and yet extremely stylish. The Apple Computer of the road. Unlike anything else on the market. And nothing beats the powerful rush of turbo boost.
