Inspired millions
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is not the greatest album ever made, but it has inspired my music more than any other album ever. It has also inspired millions of other singer/songwriters to make beautiful, harmonious music throughout the world.

Practically impossible to feel sad
I've been listening to The Beatles all my life. I hum their tunes without realizing it, I sing along without thinking about it (and, with MY voice, I never sing along!), and I always stop the radio if I hear a note from them. Many mornings start with "Good Day Sunshine". I have a CD collection of over 300 albums, but most of my top 20 are by The Beatles. And as I was musing to my mother the other day, I find it practically impossible to feel sad when I am listening to John, Paul, George, & Ringo!

Throughout it all...
From "yeah, yeah, yeah" to "I read the news today" to "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make," The Beatles have written amazing music that has touched billions of people for over forty years. They constantly explored new ways of music, starting revolutions musically or otherwise. They made two fantastic movies in between touring and concerts and photo shoots and interviews and award shows and the constant threat of overzealous fans. And throughout it all, they stayed the same: cheeky, funny, charming, brutally honest, irreverent, and lovely. They were "guaranteed to raise a smile" and they still do, more than thirty years after they released their final album. There are few people in the world who can command the respect, admiration, and love that The Beatles have and continue to do. It's absolutely magical.

So sad it had to end
I have deeply loved the Beatles from day one. Great music that gets better every time you hear it and such interesting characters! Every stage of their development is marked by great music. This is the ultimate Lovemark. The Beatles are loved for their personalities almost as much as their music. So sad it had to end.

Love, love, love
Yes, it wasn't until the Beatles popped up in the top ten on Lovemarks.com that I fully understood the Lovemark concept. From an advertising perspective, how utterly amazing to have product brands keep the company of such endearing touchstones as the Beatles and Dr. Seuss. All the nominations that seem strange, well... they deserve revisiting in this new light. What a brilliant website. What the Beatles accomplished is astonishing. And now, not least because their music provides a pretty apt soundtrack for the whole Lovemark concept. Love, love, love.

My first love
The Beatles are pure magic - they were my first love, my first dreams of something bigger and better and more beautiful than where I lived and grew up, they were the music in my head. Listening to them made me part of something beautiful and wonderful.

They shaped a generation.
They shaped a generation - OUR generation. And continue to do so today. Elvis might be "king", but the Beatles are our "priests". They showed us to way to self-enlightenment and self-discovery.

You always go back to them
This is beyond reason. They are The Beatles. You always go back to them, to their music. And what else can I add that wasn't already said?
