Gotta love it
Not just any Mercedes - but the 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gull Wing. Everything that was extraordinary about it is still extraordinary. It perfectly allows for styling, radical engineering, pure sex, grunt and femininity all in the one package. Gotta love it.

I love my Mercedes, we have a lot in common, we could be sisters. She is elegant, reliable, smooth, silent, intelligent, hardly complains. And if she does she is very specific (with its digital screen)... it feels like my second skin.

Ideas of etiquette
Second only to white van drivers, Mercedes drivers aren't my idea of the most polite drivers on the roads. Perhaps Mercedes will be swept away by the velorution, unless of course they give up on cars and start building bicycles.

Eternal elegance
Eternal elegance, to have a Mercedes of any age is to be a part of a different world. The engineering speaks for itself, with so many wonderful old Mercs purring around the highways... When I was a little girl, my godfather used to drive me to church in one! Now with my classic old SEL, hearing that heavy door thunk behind me makes me feel secure and happy - a part of motoring heritage.
