An obvious labour of love

Dumbo Feather - not just a magazine, but an obvious labour of love. I'm so hooked, each issue has become like a favourite pet that arrives in my letter box on a regular basis. Always read in one sitting the day it arrives, even if I'm propping my eyes open with matchsticks in the wee small hours. Once I've taken it all in, it is carefully placed in a special spot with its sibling issues where guests to my home are allowed to look but not touch. Chances are the first person I let have a flick through will be the woman I marry.

You offer us all hope

Inspirational, motivating, innovative, beautiful, thoughtful, insightful, magnificent, so many things that mainstream media is not today. Thank you for giving me something to read in my small rural town, actually I can’t believe the small newsagent stocked it, but they did, standing out against all the glossies and local papers. Here is to being different, not conforming and coming out on top. Well done, you offer us all hope with the stories and your own accomplishment.
