Inspire the uninspired
I've growing up watching softball, cricket, league but not rugby. Not until Tana set food with NZ All Blacks...well actually when he joined the Wellington Hurricanes. I've never stopped since. Tana, if you read this, just want you to know that you inspire the uninspired. Your braveness brings warmth and smiles too all who watch, especially me. I don't know what to say but Tana you are a legendary NZ Hero along with others. You'll always be a GREAT in my books! Keep smiling your beautiful smile!

Makes you proud to be a Kiwi does Tana. A man of integrity, skill and pace. A complete devotion to his nation an immense passion for the game Tana has become the insperational leader the allblacks have been looking for since Fitzy. A great asset to the game of rugby union, he continues to inspire the adoring New Zealand public as well as many othrs. A symbol of New Zealands diverse cultural make up, Tana's of Samoan heritage born in the Hutt valley will go down as one of the best.

A great person as well as a great player
In the first All Black game I ever saw, Tana Umaga stood out immediately as someone worth watching. Everything I have since read about it has underscored that he is a great person as well as a great player. My dream is to see him play in person.

I quite agree Tana is a great role model and not only in New Zealand. His work with kids should be an inspiration to us all. He certainly does derserve a big love bite for being such a great, caring person and for being such an inspiration and much admired captain.

He's the reason I'm playing rugby
I've always looked up to Tana Umaga. He's the reason I'm playing rugby. I was born in New Zealand. I first started playing on wing and then I moved to full back, but now I'm playin outside center. He is my idol. Keep it up you carvin' up the All Blacks.

Great respect for the game
I've only been watching rugby for 2-3 years and I'm a huge supporter the All Blacks. Tana Umga is a passionate and wholly dedicated player who has great respect for the game and everyone playing it. He's one of the best players I've seen and it's great to watch him play with such skill.
