  • Would have made an amazing president

I had the opportunity to meet John Kerry during a town hall meeting in October. This man is real. He is sincere. He cares about the people he works for. There is no doubt that he would have made an amazing president.

  • Still Kerrying on!

I still love John Kerry! In my book, Kerry is absolutely awesome! He may not have won the election, but I think he has shown more nobility and honor in defeat than George W. has in his entire presidency. I heard a quote in a movie the other day that made me think of John Kerry: "to become a leader, you first have to lose." True Blue and Still Kerrying On!

  • He won our hearts

Kerry is still my hero, and as one of my friends put it the other day, whether or not he won the election, he won our hearts. I hope he makes good on his pledge to be vocal in the Senate, not to retreat into the background, because we need his leadership (and we need to keep seeing his beautiful smile). And I hope he runs again in '08. Conventional wisdom has it that you can't run twice, but Kerry doesn't seem like one to let conventional wisdom run his life. In John Kerry, we can have a truly great president; I still hope we will someday.

  • Cut off

I do feel sorry for all the Kerry supporters out there, who were really convinced that he would be elected. I also feel sorry for those who were on the Kerry blog, who were suddenly, and without any notice, cut off from the thousands of people they chatted with daily. Nice to see that that is how die-hard supporters are treated.

  • It wasn't for nothing

Thank you Mr. Kerry for giving us hope. Even though you didn't win the election, you've still managed to help the country realize the importance of voting and making our voice be heard. Myself and a large number of friends and family put our souls into your campaign, but I feel as though it wasn't for nothing. We're making steps and you have done us a wonderful favor. We're in your debt.

  • The best of luck

John Kerry may not be the president, but he is my President. I wish him and Mr. Edwards the best of luck and will see them again in '08.

  • Nothing can take that away

I still love John Kerry. He is a true leader and has made me proud to be an American. Nothing can take that away from me.

  • Checks and balances

I was touched by Senator Kerry's remarks today when he conceded the election to George W. Bush. I think we should all keep Sen. Kerry's messages in mind over the next four years and remind our legislators that they are there to represent us, and provide checks and balances to the executive and judicial branches of our government.

  • Kerry ran a good campaign

Kerry ran a good campaign and garnered over 50,000,000 votes. He's gotta be a lovemark to someone. I think it will be critical that Kerry bury the hatchet from this election and work toward unifying the country alongside President Bush. Afterall, his staying power will be the true measure of whether he is indeed a lovemark.

  • How I feel

God Bless John Kerry & John Edwards. I think this election shows the world how a true democracy works. When I think of George Bush and Co. I remember a line I heard once in a movie "How can he say that he loves America but hates Americans?" That's how I feel Ive been treated by the Republicans since Bush took office. JK and JE are listening to middle class america and we're saying loud and clear that Americans want new leadership!
