  • You have to love Tonga

You have to love Tonga. Untouched, raw, backwards, forwards, tropical, cultural, historical all in one. Unlike other countries in the South Pacific, Tonga is off the beaten path of many tourists and its a good thing. The people are very friendly, they laugh a lot, and are genuinely very, very hospitable. From the coral flatland of Tongatapu to the lush forests on 'Eua to the hidden postcard beaches of Ha'apai to the unique paradise of Vava'u to the seclusion of the Niua Islands. This is one country with everything bar snow. Travel there if you dare....ohhh and Tonga is one of the few places in the world where you can swim with the humpback whales. I guess that's another Lovemark.

  • Deserted paradise

The best kept secret in the South Pacific and probably the most welcoming place in the world. Deserted paradise islands, virgin beaches, active volcanoes, coral lagoons, Jonah Lomu. Currently applying for status as an international Marine Park reserve. A famous history of independence and the site of the mutiny on the Bounty. Scuba diving visibility for 50m. The only place in the world that you can watch humpback whales dance without ever having to leave the beach.
