Touring Ferrari of a bicycle

Loyalty beyond reason is only for people; loyalty to things is within reason. But it is crazy enough. My thing-loyalty is to a Felt F-30 bicycle. I don’t own it – yet. Every day I study the F-30 on its website, its picture, its (click here) larger picture, its (click here) geometry data. I ride long days easily because of its carbon fork and seat stays. I sail uphill with its triple chainring, shifting with the (click here) Dura Ace shifters. I am loyal to the F-30. I have, at $2100, a touring Ferrari of a bicycle. I bike the Felt website every day. The great joy of loving people is living with them for a life; the exquisite pleasure of a thing comes from the loyalty to it just at the moment of purchase. ... I’m just now clicking off from work and going to the store.
