Herb Ritts

  • A thousand emotions

He made great work. Scattered in amongst the different elements of our pop culture he left beautiful images and firm art direction. We now live in a more visual world and I think his work contributed heavily to this effect. He photographed almost every famous person on the planet, creating sensual and emotional images of them all. I Think his work speaks for itself. Herb Ritts inspired me to ask : Does a picture consist of a thousand words, or a thousand emotions ?
