  • She was the love of my life

She was the love of my life. She took me across Saudi Arabia 10 times from East to West and never gave up on me. She’d carry me a 5 gallon water bottle 1500km and never complain. I could sleep with her whenever I wanted - gas stations in the middle of nowhere, beaches, deserts, mountains, you name it. She helped me rescue 2 Bedouin tribesmen 80 miles inside the desert, and when 3 cars ran into the back of her, she didn’t even flinch. A cracked brake light, and that was all. I had to leave her in the desert. The Saudi police would not allow me to bring her back. She never wore an abaya, she’d just drive around naked and never get a tan. I even travelled right through the middle of Mecca with her, and live to tell the tale. It broke my heart to just leave here there. Every time I see a Discovery now...it has many special meanings, hundreds of happy memories, in a country so desolate you cannot imagine. God bless you LR. Missing you.

  • So classic yet so modern...

Having to describe Range Rover I would say it's the utter most in paradoxes. How is that you ask me? Well, I find Range Rovers to be so classic yet so modern and full of state-of-the-art and top-notch capabilities and enhancements. It is both on road and off road, its exterior is simple and Spartan, yet luxurious and lavish. I'm a complex person and love the complex things life has to offer. Thank you Range for being there for me. Never change the 'formula'.

  • NOT A Jeep!

More than safety or the image of strength or power, Landrover's legendary non-military story projects an exclusive breeding, honesty, independence, strength, character and competence of the owner. I have owned Land Rovers (and now a Range Rover) since the early 80's, and have actually participated in Camel Trophies in Central America and selection events in Japan. Unlike simple 4x4 commodities like the many "jeeps" from the USA, Japan, Korea and the old eastern bloc, Rover owners I've met all over the world are unofficial "members" of a worldwide cult of fiercely independent, competent people, less concerned with outward appearance, who appreciate internal qualities, and are quick to remind you that their Lovemark IS NOT A Jeep!

  • Client for life

You won't find them submitting to comparison test in magazines or making ridiculous claims on TV. They shun the spotlight, yet are so purpose-built they have royal appointments. The Land Rover combines the best road-going qualities of a luxury car and off-road capabilities of a, well, Land Rover. I was rear-ended while stopped by a Chevy Suburban going about 30 mph.My Land Rover suffered only cosmetic damage and I continued my commute to work. The Suburban had to be towed away. That made me a client for life.

  • I don't want to drive anything else

Land Rover has an unbelievable following. It has always been like that and remains like that through all changes of onwership and quality issues. Land Rover remains the icon, approximately 70% of Land Rovers made are still on the roads, in all corners of our world. I've absolutely fallen in love with Land Rover's and I don't want to drive anything else. Its not just a car, its my lifestyle.
