  • Recipes that I would never make before

I use my Cuisinart almost every day. There are so many recipes that I simply would never make before I got this marvelous machine - like cheesecake. There is nothing nastier than lumpy cheesecake, but with a 'Nart, lumps are gone forever. And breadcrumbs. How did people EVER make bread crumbs before the 'Nart? A blender? I shudder. You can even make buttered bread crumbs, no bother. Then there are dips and cream soups. And really, really, really finely chopped onions and other veggies for meatloaf or dressing. Yes, you can use a grater for some cheese, but for two pounds of cheese? Your hand might fall off! Have I mentioned fresh bread? Or my famous ham spread with chutney and ginger? If you cook, you NEED a 'Nart.

  • It never fails me

I don't know what I would do without my Cuisinart. It saves me so much time. From simple grating of cheese (no more skinned knuckles) and making fresh peanut butter to complex recipes, it never fails me.

  • No compromise

Food processors are one of those areas where you can't try before you buy. Its a shame really as Cuisinart would win hands down on both size and grunt - you know... the power that a machine has to do the job. And the size to be able to fit all the ingredients in for the recipes you know and love without having to compromise or re-work them. Others whine and squeal while the nuts are struggling to be ground, or clunk and bang with dough in the bowl. Not with the Cuisinart. I would rather have ONE Cuisinart Food Processor than a mixer, a grinder, a blender and a hand wand.

  • No better way

I love coming home to a refreshing smoothie, made with a banana, yogurt, orange juice, and fresh or frozen fruit . . . like berries or a peach in July. No ice, but occasionally some ice cream, like Ben & Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk or One Sweet Whirled, or anything with coffee and chocolate bits. There's no better way to make it than my Cuisinart food processor.
