A glance at his stuff is enough

I play bass guitar and each time I see a band playing live I always focus on the bass player. After many years of observation I've noticed that when the band was real good, the guy on the bass was plugged into an Ampeg amp. Now I don't focus so much on the bass player , a glance at his stuff is enough.
