  • The ability to inspire athletes

Gatorade, like Nike, has had the ability to inspire athletes to persevere despite fatigue, defeat, or failure. The commercials and messages hit an inner part of an athlete, lighting a flame to the dream of aspiring to greatness.

  • I can't get enough of this stuff

I can’t get enough of this stuff and I don’t even workout, exercise or any of that junk. Our local stores sell 10 for $10.00 for a 32 oz bottle. Quite a bit! And I’ll buy 2-3 bottles at a time. I like the blue ones the most Cool Blue, Glacier Freeze, etc. Once I open it up I drink straight from the bottle and it doesn’t take long to empty a 32ozer. I know it doesn’t have any juice but boy it sure tastes good.

  • The promise of mystery

Gatorade... If they stopped producing it, I would buy it on the black market. But not for the promise of performance. (Nike maxes out that idea.) For the promise of the mysterious "electrolytes" - seemingly the perfect hangover cure.

  • Inspires me to go beyond my limits

Gatorade really inspires me to go beyond my limits when I am training, and it actually helps me accomplish it! Its image, its style really gets me too, itīs about taking sports seriously, not only wanting to "look good" for others, but feeling good while I'm training because I'm developing inner strength and a strong attitude towards life. The Gatorade logo makes me feel proud, which isn't a feeling I generally associate with brand logos. More than energizing my body, it energizes my soul...!
