Enjoy it while you can
In an era when professional sports teams spend more time angling for a lucrative stadium deal than they do improving their rosters, Dodger Stadium is a breath of fresh air. If rumors are true, soon Chavez Ravine (the hill the stadium is built on) will be condos and shopping centers and we'll have a mega-corporate-named shiny castle downtown near staples center, and that doesn't make me happy at all. Angelenos, enjoy it while you can.

There is no equivalent to a trip to Dodger Stadium
The Dodger blue are true. There is no equivalent to a trip to Dodger Stadium. The sights, smells, and tastes of the ballpark linger in my memory banks long after the last strike has been called. Being at Dodger Stadium is one of those rare moments in LA when I can feel at home with 50,000 fellow Angelenos. It may be a shame if they lose - but it's never a loss when I go.
