Happy days, April is back in the U.S!

Happy days, April is back in the U.S!! Right now, she is basically in a few Northern states, but her beautiful clothes can be admired and purchased at her web site again, as fresh and inviting as it was. Her home fashions are also there. Now we can feel as special as before in April’s unique patterns and prints. Another thing I really like about April Cornell is that she gives back in her charity work, and allows us to contribute, and she writes to her customers about what is going on. It saddened her to have to close her U.S. stores, but that is what it took to get back on her feet after some mismanagemtn on the part of a U.S. manager. She kept her Canadian stores open, and they were able to sell to the States via HSN, as has been noted. But I can tell you, I was so sad when I lost my Charleston store. So, Celebrate with me April’s return to the U.S., write her via her web site and welcome her back, and celebrate being feminine, a little bit like a return to the genteel days of tea and gentle breezes, cotton and fun hats, and little girls in pinafores, babies in bonnets, and soft sweet sweeters for fall days we HOPE are around the corner!!

These stores were a treat!

I heard that QVC or HSN are going to sell April Cornell. Is that the reason the stores have closed? These stores were a treat! They are going to be so missed!

Some cute new pieces

I know that ebay does not offer the newest items but there are some cute new pieces, I have purchased four dresses already all had the tags on them. Please let us know how to get a catalog. Thank you.

Items I can't live without

My biggest problem is that I've seen the Fall catalogue, and there are items in it that I can't live without. Yet I can't find any stores that are carrying the label. You would think, in our day and age, April would have an internet store available. I've searched everywhere on the internet. E-bay carries April Cornell, but not the new stuff. I don't understand why it isn't available for purchase online.

It was a dream store

My heart is broken to know that April Cornell is no longer in the U.S. I had been dressing my 14 year old daughter from there since she was a baby and myself. I found the store on a trip to Canada many years ago. I was so thrilled to find it in the U.S as far down as Miami. I thought I had it made, I would always have beautiful dress and things for my home. I can not fly to Canada evey time I need something. I do not know what I am going to do. It was a dream store!

An online store would be the next best thing

I am encouraged. Given the strong interest of the women in US, maybe April Cornell can make her items available online - sort of an Electronic Store. It will not be the same as browsing in a store and talking to the sales staff, but it will be the next best thing.

To everyone that is sad, visit ebay. I have purchased 4 dresses in the past month. They are excellent, new with tags. I finally feel happy again and count the days until my next purchase. Try it, I shop with All about April, or collectable heaven located in Canada. I too miss her shop, I can hardly go to Pasadena and not feel sad that my store is no longer in the shopping mall.

Like losing a long time friend

I was saddened when all the Illinois stores closed and now to find out that there is no online catalog and no stores anywhere in the US is beyond sad. I have worn April Cornell for every major occasion in my life, whether clothes or jewelry and was wearing one 11 years ago when I found out I was pregnant with my first child. I have saved my old catalogs to browse and remember. Losing April Cornell is like losing a long time friend who you thought would always be there.

Went to Settler's Green to buy myself a dress at April Cornell's outlet shop there and it was gone and replaced by a store with clothing with bears on them. What a dissapointment. Isn't there an online store? I looked last night but found only April's site with no clothing.
