Vibrant wonderful markers
Every time I see Sharpies in stores I want to buy them. I have to mentally argue with myself that I have enough at home already, to resist these vibrant wonderful markers.

Gives me ideas that I want to make permanent
The permanancy is powerful, and now they have colors. Just looking at all the colors together gives me ideas that I want to make permanent. Sharpie puts that power in my hands.

Will it ever run out of ink?
I'm a Georger (see Where'sGeorge) and I admit it. I mark all my bills with my extra fine point Sharpie. Many of us do. But I couldn't believe how great my Sharpie works. Way back in the fall of 2002, I bought a pack of multi-colored Sharpies. I really liked the way the blue one wrote on my bills so I primarily used that one. When I was deployed with my Reserve unit, I took it with me to mark bills where ever I was sent. In April 2004, I finally returned to the States and was still using my blue Sharpie I took with me! It survived the sand and sun of the Middle East. In fact, I'm still using it. Will it ever run out of ink? I sure hope not!

Best dressed Sharpie
As I watched the Golden Globes I looked for the best and worst dressed. I came upon a star signing an autograph. An elegant fine tip Sharpie in her hand. It was dressed the golden shade of yellow. It was then when I saw the best dressed Sharpie. Many other colors and tones filled the red carpet. I was dazzled by the fact that there was no worst dressed.

Hitting it big
Sharpie, simply the best. You know a brand has hit it big when people use it as a noun (Haven't we all heard someone say "Hand me the Sharpie?"), and Sharpie completely deserves it. The best in permanent markers, and worthy of my adulation.

At first I merely flirted
Dear Sharpie, you've been with me for a very long time. At first I merely flirted with your permanency, I was sure my dolls all needed black permanent marker eyeliner. Then you came with me to summer camp to sign t-shirts and autograph books. Then you left your mark on countless boxes through 12 moves.
