Why not Zippo?
I don't smoke, often, yet I own 26 Zippo lighters. My favorite is a 1984 Solid Brass one, I got in San Francisco during a photo shoot for Zippo. My next favorite is my Father's with the Marine Corp insignia from 1944, it still works perfectly. Zippos have have been in more movies than any other actor or character ever! Over 350 roles -- they usually play themselves and add a degree of mystery and intrigue to every scene. In 1999 I petitioned the Hollywood walk of Fame for a star with Zippo's name on it, they turned us down, but we're still trying. After all if Rin Tin Tin can have a star why not Zippo?

Still smiling
Smooth. Sexy. Seductive. There's nothing quite like the sweet tang in the air after igniting a Zippo lighter. It's distinctive and so sensual. James Dean, and other eternal bad boys, in leather, bodies draped over bikes. These images come to mind every time I hear the quick flip of the lighter's top. Young, maybe foolish, but completely seduced - I only started smoking to have an engraved Zippo for my very own. I've never felt so powerful, so feminine as when I could flip back that top and offer a light to my own bad boy. And even today I still smile at the thoughts Zippo bring to mind. It is truly a Lovemark to me.

A fiery keepsake
I only smoked for three years, yet I had like 7 different Zippo’s. I used to match them with my outfit and I could go back for miles if by accident I happened to forget it back home. To this very day I keep them and the only reason I would smoke again one day it would be for using them once more. I can say that you didn’t smoke for real until you fired your first Zippo lighter. This is one lighter that can surely ‘light your fire’.

True to their roots
Zippo stand behind their products with a Lifetime Guarantee, are deeply involved with the Zippo community and stay true to their small town Pennsylvania roots...the company is still owned by members of the founders family. Zippo is an example more companies should attempt to emulate.

A sign of independence
Loved by soldiers in many different wars, often copied, and a sign of independence and masculinity.
