Asics is a brand of sports footwear, apparel and equipment. The company was initially founded in Japan in 1949, and took on its current name in 1977.

My number one
I normally buy adidas running shoes but when I walked into Rebel Sport they had a pair of asics gel trabuco shoes on sale half price. I pointed them out to my mum and then tried them on. I ended up using them for hockey because they had really good tread on them. I love the cushioning in the shoes. It made running a whole lot easier but I am not the only one who loves asics running shoes because in a shoe shop I once read that 50% of finishers in the London marathon wore them. asics are my number one shoe now.
