That book changed me
Without a doubt a book not to be forgotten. You know you've read a good book when the narrator's voice starts sounding like the narration in your own head. Maybe it was just the age I was when I read it. Maybe it was because I read it 2 years before it was part of our set work at school. But no matter what that book changed me, or woke me up, and for this reason I love it. There's a Holden Caulfield cynical voice in the back of all of our minds, well at least in mine.
