My wife is addicted to HGTV
My wife is also addicted to HGTV but not in the loving way you describe. It's more like the pathetic people you read about in Annie's Mailbox that are addicted to pornography. She lays there, I'm sure, dreaming about these multi-level minimansions, and then bitches about the house that we can afford. At least when I watch Asia Carrera, I don't expect my spouse to magically transform into her. Do you know about a support group for husbands of wives addicted to HGTV?

Husband's surprise
I'm addicted to HGTV. I love learning about home decorating and seeing spaces transformed from boring to inspiring. I've used many ideas from the shows I've watched and have even demonstrated "do it yourself" know how much to my husband's surprise.

I win the remote-control battle
The Home and Garden network offers something for everyone. Why would I waste my time watching reruns of boring sitcoms when I can turn to HGTV and always learn something - from gardening to cooking, decorating to remodeling to antiquing. My husband would rather watch the History channel, but I win the remote-control battle with HGTV. Interesting and captivating 30 minute shows that are chock-full of ideas that everyone can use.
