I think class
My father had an E-Type Roadster in the 1970s. To me, it was the most amazing vehicle ever, and made my dad look unbelievably cool. When I think about the Jaguar brand now, I think class.

Comfortable, safe and sexy!
The first time I saw this incredible car I was probably 5 years old and asked my mother when we will buy one for me to drive...childhood dreaming. After 30 years now there is no other car which has fascinated me again in this way. And although I am not able to buy one (the next 30 years), I had the chance to drive an X-Type for 3 days long!! You can not imagine what kind of feeling it was. Comfortable, safe and sexy! Thank you Sir William Lyons!!

I love the sight of the curves of my Jaguar
I love the sight of the curves of my Jaguar when I am near it. And the smell of the leather when I get in. And the touch of the polished wood when I grab the wheel. And the muffled sound of the engine when I start it. And the perfect sound of the door closing when I leave it.

The beauty and power
I never was very interested in cars as a child. And as an adult I was a student through my twenties, living on a low budget. I never even considered buying a car. The only car I actually wanted, was a Jaguar. The beauty and power of Jaguar was not a car interest at all, but something more. At 34 I bought my first car, my first Jaguar. An XJ6 1969 model, one of the earliest and Sable brown, like sir William's private example..:)It is my first Jag, but won't be the last! I'll accumulate as many as my wife will let me... in time.

Dazed and dazzled
When I was ten years old I attended my first car show, and while I was impressed with the Maseratis, and the Ferraris, when I laid my eyes upon a Jaguar, it was like being hit in the head while playing squash. I was dazed and dazzled by the car's beauty and workmanship. I knew that someday I would have to own one (or be best friends with someone who owned one.) On May last birthday, my friends who were aware of my obsession pooled their pennies and rented a Jaguar for a long weekend for me. What a treat! I still plan to own a beauty one day.

Indescribable satisfaction
I have owned many cars. My present 1986 model is my third Jag. All three of them have had one thing in common: That indescribable feeling of satisfaction when you get in and drive! There is no car on the market that I would consider in its place. And that from a German!

We've lost something along the way
I bought a Jaguar XJ6 1972 a few years ago. The car looks as good as new considering her age. I am only the second owner and the little old lady (no joke) whom I bought it from was concerned that I look after her properly, which I have done and continue to do so. When I drive or clean her I sense the spirit of the design and craftmanship. The (late) chief designer said the XJ series "is the best we've ever done". Her condition and driveability have never let me down. Seeing my kids fall asleep in the back seats as she faithfully purrs along is all the satisfaction I need. New this, new that - we've lost something along the way.
