Always dedicated
It sort of began when I flew Lufthansa 6 years ago because it was the cheapest ticket to France. I couldn't even pronounce the name. Now, after 17 transatlantic flights over the past 6 years, I have had great experience after great experience, and will not fly across the Atlantic without them. A story that defines the brands attitude: It was a rainy December morning, my flight landed in Dusseldorf at 5am, where I connected onward. I had to pass through security again and while zipping up my boot, it broke. My boot and I flopped down to the gate, and in absolutely terrible German, I explained the situation. The employee at the then spent the remaining 30 minutes before boarding running around the airport to find a solution (after calling the baggage guys on the tarmac to bring my bag so I could just take another pair). Finally, no solution as we boarded the bus to the plane. She ran out before departed, spoke to the bus driver for a second. As I was getting off the bus when we reached our plane, the bus driver motioned to be, and presented me with two safety pins! Problem fixed. Since, their service has always been this dedicated. I will always spend a little extra money to fly with them!
