Balanced entertainment
CBC radio 'One' (news) and 'Two' both offer the highest quality and balanced entertainment. I have listened to both for years, and they do a very good job of informing listeners about the world and beyond. I listen to the BBC, DW radio and other national broadcasters and the CBC is easily as professional.

Missing it more than I thought it would
I listened to the CBC every day when I was growing up. Now that I don't live in Canada anymore, I miss it more than I thought I would. With radio shows like "As it Happens" and "Royal Canadian Air Farce," Canada shares its regional culture, news, and sense of humour with the rest of the country. I was delighted to learn that America's National Public Radio broadcasts replays of "As it Happens" at 11pm. I've even stayed up late to listen to it when I'm homesick for Canada. CBC Radio and CBC-TV, thanks for being part of my life.

The hypnotizing formation of shapes is akin to the hypnotic power CBC has over much of Canada - the shows aren't the greatest, but we can't stop watching...
