A superwoman

She's not only a woman, but a superwoman. She won the Olympic marathon aged 38, an absolute record for the athletics, and she did it in an outstanding manner. Leading the pack from start to end, she impressed the international media who wrote the next day: "Constantina is like fine wine! She's getting better with age!". Not only does the Olympic title in Beijing make Constantina a sensational sports figure, she is the world half marathon champion and winner of the Chicago Marathon. In 2008 she was nominated the best sportsman in the Balkans, overtaking figures like tennis player Novak Djokovic or football star Dimitri Berbatov. Alongside her coach Valeriu Tomescu, Constantina is a charity promoter. She is an outstanding woman, who proved to the world that age doesnt matter when you have the necessary will!
