I take a bottle of it everywhere I go
A star anise-based alcoholic drink, Ricard and its many copycats are a household name in south of France. Refreshing, synonymous with bar conversations with friends, and lazy afternoons under a tree shade, I take a bottle of it everywhere I go. I have bought specially-crafted sky poles with empty handles to fill with Ricard, to make sure I can share a glass of it with friends during ski trips. They even make plastic bottles to make sure you can carry it everywhere without risking breaking the bottle and losing its precious content.
