  • The Man's Man

Words cannot describe how deep this character is rooted in my mind. Ever since I was thirteen, he has been the Man's Man. Period.

  • He is my ultimate hero

I absolutely love James Bond. He is my ultimate hero. He is very handsome and I agree with comments on this page, for example, that he is a good role model. This is the best love mark on this website. I love him!

  • A role model

James Bond exemplifies the perfect combination of masculinity, intelligence, class, sex appeal, character and wit. What a great role model for men to have (and for other women to dream of)!

  • The only game in town

James is the man — a ladies man AND a man's man and oh so cool. I love the gadgets, the action sequences, the location choices, the interludes, the 'only James can say style' banter. The movies are great and since I got a Gamecube I get to play James the latest 007 game (Everything or Nothing) - COOL! It has a better storyline than the movie and all the actors are back too (well, their voice talents). Now, where did I leave my Vanquish... (damn that stealth mode!)

  • The gadgets rule

I wanna be a Bond girl! Who wouldn't? The 007 filcks are a statement about modern society -- everyone wants to be a kick-ass spy. Not only is James Bond good looking and smart, the gadgets rule. Sean Connery and Peirce Brosnan are the best 007's and I hope there are many more movies in the series. Bond, James Bond.

  • Not a good thing

My parents would not let me see these movies when I was growing up in the Midwest US. They said that the actions of James Bond were immoral. Too much sex, killing and action. Hmmmm, sounds like a recipe for Hollywood success. They were right but is it wrong to go to a fantasy world when we go to the movies? Well, if we know that it is a fantasy. America is wrong to export this sort of thing to the third world where people confuse movies and reality. Men actually grow up wanting to be James Bond. Not a good thing.

  • He still had me dreaming...

The first James Bond movie I ever saw was in the movie theatre way back in the late '70s, "Moonraker". For me he was everything I wanted to be, all of my aspirations rolled up into just one ordinary man. That was until in later years I realised that his accomplishments were more fiction than fact. He still had me dreaming for so many years. As a young man - scanning the papers for MI5 recruitment advertisements and the like ! Later in life I even went and bought myself an Omega Seamaster watch - Still working on the Aston Martin. I still get goosebumps today when I hear that dark twangy guitar riff.I often think if James Bond was a Christian, he would ask for his Vodka Martinis 'good measure, pressed down, shaken together but not stirred' - (Luke 6:38).
