Goods of Desire, in short - G.O.D. - sounds like "live better" in Cantonese. The brand collaborates very authentic local Hong Kong style and culture with modern hip and posh design. Slogans which they use to print on their products also have a different meaning when one tries to read it as Cantonese. G.O.D. is well-represented and supported by a segment of the population in Hong Kong. Hongkongers who were born during the colonial period would agreed that G.O.D. incites nostalgia and reminisce forever!
