Still too much in love
I was thinking about leaving my husband but I realised that would mean leaving the Alfa. I am not ready to leave the Alfa. I am still too much in love.

A deliciously remindful taste
Alfa Romeo offers a deliciously remindful taste of Italian ingenuity, beauty, craftsmanship and beauty. Attention to detail is their most telling characteristic.

Not to slow down
My first car was a silver 1982 Sprint Veloce. It was full of rust, but a thing of beauty. In it, I learned not to slow down. I miss it still.

Just like starting my Alfa Romeo for the first tim
Recently, I went for a walk with my two boy's in a wood near where we live. As we got further into the wood, I realised I could not see the youngest so I called his name and carried on walking slowly. Then I felt his tiny hand gently slip into mine and I thought I will never feel this again because the next time he would have grown. One of those moments which becomes burned on the soul, just like starting my Alfa Romeo for the first time.

The typical sound
I'm Italian and Alfa Romeo cars were part of my life: my uncle Michele and my aunt Matilde were both been having Alfa Romeo for many years: Giulietta, Giulia, 1750, 2000, Alfetta, and ... the typical sound of the Alfa Romeo engines is a memory of when I was young within the aggressive look of the double front lights "one greater and one smaller"!

Boring just doesn't exist
Alfa Romeo just blows your mind. The beautiful design, the powerful engine and the fun factor of my classical Spider always makes me live the spirit of that fine Italian brand. No other sports car could statisfy me like this one. You get addicted to driving it....especially up north of Montreal in the Morin Heights on the small twisty roads when the engine screams and the echo reflects from the rock faces and you can't stop grinning. Alfa Romeo is a lifestyle, a love, a passion and something unexpected...boring just doesn't exist.

I drove it like it was meant to be
I had a classic boat tail spider in university in 1983. Bought it for $1,500 and it broke down every three weeks. But I loved it and drove it like it was meant to be. Most fun you can have in a car.

Passion generated by an Italian
Although the Alfa Romeo is, indeed, in a class of its own, there is nothing new nor surprising about high levels of passion generated by an Italian.

Once driven, hooked forever.
An Alfa, a way of life, why live without.... Once driven, hooked forever. Small but powerful feet are essential in order to enjoy the grinning machine to the extreme. Go on... you know you need one!

That’s the feeling I get when I start my Alfa...
Remember that feeling of Christmas morning as a child ? That’s the feeling I get when I start my Alfa each day. Many of New Zealand's road are occupied by the faceless grey surge of appliance-like vehicles which offer no soul, nothing more than plasticated function. Alfa Romeo stands apart. There's something charmingly infuriating about the electrics, but always held in check by the engine's willing response, chortled out by the operatic note of the exhaust system. Ownership becomes allegiance.
