Ovi, the Finnish word for 'door, began life as an online portfolio in the form of a monthly magazine. As each new issue was published it morphed into a real magazine, with an increasing readership and a continually growing number of voluntary - Ovi has always been non-profit - contributors. Ovi offers nothing other than a daily platform to exchange opinions, engage in intelligent discussion and promote freedom of speech; it also offers a look at the lighter side of life. Ovi is not a blog, it isn't a magazine and it certainly isn't an online portfolio anymore… it is just Ovi, a small, everyday site that does embrace and infuse your life making it a little better through the exchange of ideas, plus it is gradually going to become a world-changing revelation for thousands.
