It's amazing
My dad used to be a speedboat racer when I was a kid. I can still remember him being interviewed by this man every weekend we were at the beach or lake at the races and bringing him a magazine. I just remember the photos cause I could barely read. When we were not at the speedboat races we were at the race track supporting my dad's cousins who were pretty popular. This man was also there with his magazine and his photos. As time went by, the race track closed and the boat races were cancelled, my contact with almost all the motorsport events got lost. Ten years later, the man's son had an idea, he created a website and a forum for fans to share all their knowledge and discuss with each other about their favorite discipline. Found it by accident on the web and now it's been about 3 years since I've been made a user and it's been my homepage since then. At work or home, I'm reloading the index like every 20 minutes to check what's new. Met a lot of people there who are actually my friends in real life now. Met people from Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Panama and El Salvador, some of them being pretty cool when I go to watch a race to their country. This not only happens to me, a lot of people from the community has gone through the same experience as me. It's amazing to meet people at races and hear them talking about the site and even presenting themselves with their real name and their username. I just love how a site and some simple forums can unite the entire Central American region, being more than an informative media, without it, a lot of the racing and events we have wouldn't exist. This is just a bit of why I think that Mundo Motorizado deserves to be a Lovemark.
