  • Homer sleeps in each of us

Homer Simpson resides inside each one of us. He's the living animal that sleeps in each of us men. His driver is the only one that really matters: food. Because absurdity with bells on is so much needed in an individualistic society overwhelmed by over communication of dramatic world events.

  • Creative for ten years

I loved this from day one on the Tracy Ullman show. Irreverent humor, totally creative for, what is it now, ten years? I especially love the Halloween episodes!

  • The funniest

The funniest animated show on TV. It so closely resembles my family it's scary. My favorite episode was the one where they were hooked up to each other and could give each other electrical shocks. It was the funniest thing I've seen.

  • A staple of our culture

Tthe Simpsons - understood by my generation more than any other artist's statement on society - the gift that Matt G has given the world in his satirical humor has strengthened my belief that talented people still exist and even if the masses are too ignorant to get the subtle humor, everyone has to respect the talent and imagination that make The Simpsons a long running staple of our culture!

  • I watch the reruns

The Simpsons has been the most consistently funny show of all time, in my opinion. Fifteen years of shows, and the humor is still more fresh than any other show I can think of. Great characters, lots of jokes (many of them quick or easy to miss the first time you watch it) and awesome Halloween shows every year. I still prefer to watch a Simpsons rerun that I've already seen to most other shows on TV!

  • The epitome

The epitome of our current pop culture. Beyond what Seinfeld did, the Simpsons captures our imaginations with each episode. The outstanding writing leads to obvious jokes, and a lot more less-obvious jokes.

  • A permanent mark on pop culture...

Over a decade of brilliance in a medium that usually peters out of good ideas in the first few years. Subversive, yet heartwarming, stories. Characters that have made a permanent mark on pop culture. Humor that appeals to everyone from hyperactive children to highbrow adults. And all this from the bloody Fox network, no less.
