Meaningful and beautiful
I love all his songs because every song is meaningful and beautiful. The strains of his music is nice and relaxing. Not only are some of the songs good, but the first album to the most recent are amazing. Other than that, I like the style of John Mayer. His style is casual, but elegant.

The master of music
John Mayer is the master of music. If you love music, there's no reason not to like John Mayer. His lyrics are perfect, his voice could sing you to sleep and Rolling Stone magazine called him the new Guitar Hero of our time, that speaks for itself. All his albums are amazing, but there is nothing like seeing him live. This is a person who loves music, he feels it, and it comes through in his performances. When he plays a concert, its like nobody is there but him, he just jams out and it's amazing every time. If you haven't heard his music, start listening.

A true master
This man is a musical genius - a true master of the guitar, lyrics and, most importantly, the song. Let's start with "Inside Wants Out". This was Mayer's original independent release - I got it for Christmas from my dad when I was a freshman in high school (I've been playing guitar since I was 7 years old and my dad has played in a classic rock band since I was born - music is part of who I am. Shortly after my encounter with "Inside Wants Out" I recorded my independently released first album. My dad is featured on track 7). Mayer's 1st album is raw perfection - mostly acoustic tracks and little focus on production. These are songs you're listening to. Mayer has transformed himself over the years from acoustic "mom rocker" on 'Room for Squares' to plugged-in thinker on 'Heavier Things' to guitar god on "Try!" to perfectionist on "Continuum" - but he never looses sight of the one thing that matters in music - the song.
