Ort-leap of fatih
Ortlieb means freedom to me. What it is or rather, "they are" are bicycle panniers - that is, bags that clip to the sides of your bike rack on the rear, and are totally waterproof. They mean so much to me, probably because I acquired them at a time when I was changing my life and going on a bicycle tour - the catch - I was getting rid of all of my possessions save the things to go on my tour. Car, furniture, most clothes, I mean not much, but what I had went into these bags. "Ort-leap of fatih" my friends would say. I went on the trip, it was amazing. I was never the same, and I still don't have a car and bike commute everywhere and my Ortliebs are always with me. Groceries, laundry, mobile office, shopping, they're great.
