I love the earthy qualities

I have repeatedly kept coming back to Tull’s music across my life. I love the earthy qualities, the poignant and sexy lyrics, being taken from medieval inn and field through to industrial nation and the fabulous flute playing of Ian Anderson. Jethro Tull were born while the earth was still hot: an era when musicians were often classically trained but boy did they know how to get the beat on.
