If the defintion of a Lovemark is Loyalty Beyond Reason, the last 40 years have been Loyalty Beyond Sanity. Who else could make me cry, laugh, rage and be transported to the county of ecstasy within the space of five minutes? Footballers retire. Fans aren’t so lucky.
