  • Takapuna Beach is my home

    The best suburb in New Zealand! The beach itself is 1.14km of sandy bliss. Unwind with a run or walk, reflect and wash away the day, throw a ball for the dog, breathe the fresh sea air from the Hauraki Gulf, watch the sunrise over Rangitoto Island, build a sandcastle, watch the kite-surfers fly, imagine the dreams of America’s Cup syndicates training, swim at any tide and (for many) at any time of year. The area has a great mix of cafes, boutique shops, restaurants, offices, and some of the most beautiful residences in the country - all within 5-mins walk of the beach and only 10-min drive from Auckland City. Takapuna Beach is also my home and why I ended up living in New Zealand. It’s my very own Lovemark.
