  • HP is my childhood

I've read every book through a thousand times and each time I have only liked the series better. HP is my childhood, and I couldn't imagine life without it. Viva Harry Potter.

  • Will see every movie

When I first came to know about the book "Harry Potter", I was very curious to know what this book was about as people were queing up to buy Harry Potter books. The movie is no less interesting than the book and I will be sure to always see every Harry Potter movie. What I remember most is "Wingardium Leviosa". I like Harry Potter.

  • My Absolute Favorite

Not only is Harry Potter a pop culture icon, he was a fundamental part of my childhood. When I was growing up, I devoured books. While I scarcely came across a book I didn't like, Harry Potter was my absolute favorite. My friends and I pretended that unsharpened pencils were wands and muttered "Stupefy!" and "Expelleriamus!" We squabbled over who would get to be Hermione, and who would have to be Voldemort. I read the books so many times that the pages are now grubby, stained with dirt and food and nail polish and all of the other material remnants of my childhood. I remember my mother saying, "Can't you read something else?" But that would be abandoning my best friend. I love Harry Potter. And rest assured - I visit him often.

  • I even fell in love

Harry Potter is a story based on a novel about a problem child who has special powers. The book was even made into a movie. I even fell in love with the character named Harry in the film version, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint. I prefer the movie to the novel.

  • An entire culture

Harry Potter isn't just a series of books and movies, it's an entire culture in our entertainment world. Everything about Harry Potter, from the font on the cover of the book, to spell names like "Expelliarmus!" and "Wingardium Leviosa!", to Qudditch, and to the theme song from the movies, the Harry Potter culture is so powerful and recognizable. It's no surprise that the opening of the latest Harry Potter film held midnight sold-out showings all across the country, with fans dressing up in robes with wands. I, myself, dressed up as Hermione Granger for Halloween in the 6th grade. It's a series of books and movies that can be read over and over again and that will continue to influence many generations of people, regardless of age, for many years to come.

  • No other entertainment phenomenon

There is no other entertainment phenomenon like Harry Potter. This book has sold ridiculous amounts of copies and movie tickets, not to mention paraphernalia. People do not just like Harry Potter, they are obsessed with it. I cannot think of a brand that has more audience loyalty than Harry Potter.

  • A modern day classic

It doesn't matter how old you are or when you start reading, but Harry Potter is now a modern day classic. I started reading these when I was about twelve (when HP&COS was just out) and became an instant fan. I can totally immerse myself in these stories, and when I finished the last one after two days of reading, I actually felt as though I had lost a friend and would never see them again. I was so devastated, but in saying that, seven books is just a nice number and they did end well. Will read these over and over because they will never tire! L.O.V.E them.

I have opened a site in her honor as my way of saying thanks. The url is: http://inhonorofrowling.com I am currently working on a page for people just like me who have be effected by Harry and/or Jo. I was wondering if you guys would like to take part in this page? The site will be veiwed by Jo. Since Harry has helped so many people I thought it would be nice to share those heartfelt stories. I am hoping that this page might become an inspiration for those in need and that they too will find help with in Harry.

  • Glittering with excitement

When my daughter Vaid talks about Harry Potter, her eyes were glittering with excitement. And my son Dash filled with astonishment – when he listened to her sister. What more a father would like to see. There is no doubt Harry Potter is the living–legendary–character–lovemark of the 21st century.

  • A wonderful, lasting impact on my life

Harry Potter has changed my life in a way nothing else possibly could. It has made me laugh, cry, think very hard, and re-examine my values. It has helped to fuel my love of literature, and inspire me to write novels of my own. (Though I doubt would even be a tenth as good as Harry Potter...) I thank J.K. Rowling for creating the rich, imaginative world of Harry Potter, and thus, creating such a wonderful, lasting impact on my life.
