  • Always been at the heart of equipment

I’ve played since I was 8 and I’m now 30, and Titleist have always been at the heart of equipment for me. I remember going out in the evenings looking for balls so I could fill up my practice bag. Whenever I pulled back the grass and found a new Titleist, it always made me smile. From the old balata balls the 384 Tour through to the Pro V1s and all its variations. Nothing quite like pulling out a new shiny Titleist from its packet on the first tee. 22 years on I can afford to buy them now but they still look, feel and play just as good!

  • Inspires confidence in your game

Titleist Pro VI golf balls have a feel and sound when you hit them that inspires confidence in your game. Unfortunately, I do not often buy them, they are too expensive for someone who practices as little as I. I buy NXTs instead. But to find a Pro VI or to receive a dozen as a gift makes my fingers tingle as if I have hit a big drive, pitched one in from 40 yards, or sunk a 20 foot putt.

  • Exudes class

To me, when it comes to golf, the name Titleist exudes class. The consistent quality of their clubs and balls makes it one of the few brands that I am comfortable displaying on my personal attire. Although I do not use their products exclusively, somehow I always feel that my game will be a little bit better if I am playing Titleist.

  • At the high end of the Lovemark heat centers

The company with the "#1 ball in golf". It's at the high end of all the Lovemark heat centres, plus the products deliver. And they're good people. The president gave Moe Norman - an old time golf great with mental problems - a $5000/month retainer well past the end of his career. He said they give young players scholarship money when they're getting into the sport, so why not finance old players when they're getting out of the sport? That alone makes me loyal to the brand.
