KING FM is a Seattle fixture, serving the Pacific Northwest with outstanding classical programming for nearly sixty years. More than just the fantastic music they consistently play, it’s how the announcers bring it to life that makes this station unique. I never tire of Steve Reeder and Brad Eaton’s soothing voices as they describe Beethoven or Bach. I love how Sean MacLean crafts a story around Vivaldi through vivid sensorial descriptions of the pure emotion conveyed by the composer. It’s as though I’m having an enriching conversation with old friends whenever I tune in. Never stuffy, KING FM is truly for any generation. As a young professional (and longtime listener), I appreciate the station just as much as those my parents’ age. May KING FM continue to enrich the Seattle community and the lives of those who listen on the radio and on the Web. There simply is no substitute!
