The perfect mousetrap? Maybe not yet, but the perfect BBQ grill is here. My first experience was with 6 chicken quarters. Turned the grill on, set it to “medium,” applied a little flavoring “rub” to the chicken, put it on the grill, closed the top and left it completely alone for an hour and a half. Time passed, wonderful smells emanated from the grill. I returned, opened the grill and was greeted by 6 golden brown pieces of chicken. Sliced one open and was greeted by copious amounts of clear juice. Cut a bite, put in into my mouth and experienced a taste orgasm of moist, tender, wood smoke flavored heaven that was unparalleled to anything I have ever tasted before. Now, I’m a Traeger evangelist, a BBQ zealot, the most popular guy in my circle of friends at mealtime. A member of an exclusive community that knows nothing better.
