Hostess Sno Balls is a brand of snack cakes produced by Hostess. First introduced in 1957, Sno Balls are a combination of marshmallow, coconut and cake.

All things Hostess remind me of my childhood
How can something so disgusting be so darned good? Granted, the Hostess snowball isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but all things Hostess remind me of my childhood. From the Freuduan mounds to the mysterious "cream" inside it is unique. There is nothing else that looks feels, smells or tastes like this confection. Jeez, now I have to go out and find a package and sink my teeth once again into my childhood.

A kaleidoscope rush tantalizing my entire body!
I see the package - two beautiful mounds of heaven. Sometimes heaven is pink, sometimes white or green. I open the package and I'm hit with that smell...ohhh...that coconuty smell. I bite into that Snow Ball and the texture of the marshmallow, coconut and cake (don't forget the filling!) is a kaleidoscope rush tantalizing my entire body! It's soft, it's fresh, it's delicious and there is nothing in the world like it! Nothing! They were in my lunchbox as a kid, they were there during my college munchies years, they were paired with champagne when I was dating my girlfriend (who became my wife) and they are with me still, a treat I reward myself with when I'm feeling pissy and need some relief or as a congratulatory "Ya done good!".
